Overview

The DevOps / Cloud and Automation Engineer is responsible for the facilitation of communication, collaboration, and integration between operations personnel, software engineering to rapidly produce results for cloud products and resources.

Responsibilities

  • Experience deploying, managing, and supporting applications in both IaaS and PaaS landscapes
  • Experience migrating existing monolithic applications to cloud-friendly architectures
  • Has a handle on security/compliance standards and best practices
  • Is used to and expects to support infrastructure and applications in a 24/7 environment
  • Is well versed in infrastructure as code and automation techniques
  • Understands and champions the benefit of a vendor-agnostic approach to infrastructure and application management
  • And other duties as assigned.
