About Us
We're a fast-moving tech company looking for a skilled DevOps Engineer to join as a contractor . You'll own our cloud infrastructure, build tools that make developers' lives easier, and be someone we can count on when things break — even at 2 AM.
What You'll Do
- Design, build, and maintain infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
- Manage and optimize Kubernetes (GKE) clusters for production workloads
- Deploy and maintain services on Cloud Run
- Administer Cloud Spanner databases from an infrastructure perspective
- Manage Elasticsearch clusters — scaling, monitoring, and troubleshooting
- Configure and maintain VPC networks, VPN tunnels, firewall rules, and overall network architecture
- Build and improve CI/CD pipelines and developer tooling
- Set up and maintain monitoring, alerting, and logging (Cloud Monitoring, Prometheus, Grafana, or similar)
- Respond to production incidents and be available for on-call/overnight escalations when...
