Role Summary/Purpose

Wabtec is currently looking to hire an experienced DevOps Engineer to join our expanding cloud technology hub. The DevOps AWS Engineer will be responsible for automating and supporting Wabtec Enterprise Tools cloud-based platforms and services in an agile environment.

  • Responsible for defining and automating a wide range of cloud-based middleware platforms, PaaS offerings, and SaaS offerings in a fast-paced and agile environment using the latest cloud technologies and infrastructure
  • Support a growing catalog of cloud-based middleware and developer tools such as Gitlab, IBM MQ, RedHat Fuse, Xwiki, Akana, and more
  • Leverage tools such as Terraform, Chef, GitLab, and other DevOps tooling to automate our cloud-based platforms
  • Demonstrate the ability to mentor less experienced team members by helping to remove blocking issues communicated by team member during daily Agile stand-up meetings
