**Description of Role**
**Contract Type**: Contractor
**Work Schedule**: Flexible schedule (8 hours per day)
**Compensation**: $5,000 USD per month
We are looking for a remote **DevOps Engineer** to join our team. This role will serve as additional support to the current DevOps Architect, ideally taking over the role once integrated into the team. This is a full-time position with flexible hours. Compensation is based on experience.
**Responsibilities**
- Maintain AWS infrastructure
- Keep Terraform configurations up to date
- Monitor SecurityHub and GuardDuty alerts and respond appropriately
- Identify cost-saving opportunities
- Provide reporting to improve visibility into infrastructure performance and costs
- Investigate/debug site outages or performance issues
- Implement new functionality based on internal specs
