Job Description
This Brigg Scientific client is a medical device diagnostic company who are looking for a Development Scientist to work out of their site on The Wirral, Merseyside.
- Collaborating on scientific studies in support of product development / improvement
- Maintaining detailed ongoing project records
- Adherence to quality and operational protocols
- Knowledge of biochemistry instrumentation and techniques: including immunochenistry, microfluidics and electrochemistry
- Good PCR / molecular knowledge is essential for this role
- Data analysis / statistics
- Problem solving skills
This is a permanent role commanding a salary in the range £26-28k + company benefits. Applications are welcomed from BSc qualified graduates in chemistry, microbiology, engineering or closely related subjects. Experience from a previous medical device role and ISO 13485 exposure would be a distinct advantage.
