Contribute to product innovation as a Development Buyer at BRP. Support supply chain activities and build supplier partnerships to enhance growth in Valcourt, Quebec.
Reporting to the Team Leader of Global Sourcing, this role focuses on participating in the development of new components alongside engineering and the quality department. You’ll manage component projects from prototypes through to mass production, ensuring timely availability for multiple product generations while negotiating supplier agreements for optimal terms.
Key Responsibilities:
• Collaborate on component development with engineering and suppliers
• Manage project timelines from prototype to mass production
• Ensure timely parts availability for product assembly
• Negotiate agreements with suppliers on delivery and costs
• Oversee the parts portfolio budget and update cost prices
