The Role
The Development Assistant, reporting to the MaryRuth’s Develoment Scientist within our Product Development, Innovation, & Management Team (PDIM), will work with the Development and PMO teams to turn various Innovation ideas into finished products. This role will help to coordinate and move department projects forward by collaborating with internal teams, co-manufacturers, and raw ingredient suppliers to gather information, create and validate documentation, write product briefs, and resolve any issues that may come up during development processes. This is a full-time (40 hr/wk), hourly, non-exempt, remote position.
Responsibilities
- Work extensively with diverse internal and external teams to support the product development process.
- Collect and organize ingredient and product data and information, including raw material specification sheets, packaging information, finished good specifications, and manufacturing batch records.
