Job Description

The Desktop Support Specialists provides assistance in the monitoring, maintenance, troubleshooting, escalation and resolution of network, server and other system or hardware routine issues.
- Recommends hardware and software, including new acquisitions and upgrades, based on requirements.
- Responsible for hardware installs, documentation, user training, and other general helpdesk functions.
- Create and update existing documentation of processes and procedures in support of administration tasks.
- Initiates onboarding procedures for new users into the system.
- Familiarity with IT processes (Office 356, Active Directory (policies, security), Servers, Azure AD or other similar technologies)
- Experience with Ticketing Systems, ServiceNow preferred
- Coordinates referrals to technical, professional or service personnel depending on the repair, training, service or software issue.
