Job Description

The Desktop Researcher is responsible for conducting research on companies and industries using public data found on the internet and summarizing the information in a defined format. (More on contact validation) The Desktop Researcher works with the Marketing Effectiveness and Operations (MEO) group in the Elsevier Corporate R&D Division based in New York. 

Accountabilities:

  • To support managing user lists for several tools used by Research Marketing, as well as assist with select Contact Projects

  • Develops and maintains customer information database

  • Manages information security, data protection, data quality and exchange

  • Performs routine tasks following specific instructions or under supervision Business Expertise

  • Perform, as directed and needed by Business Unit
