Design Technology - Workshop and Studio Manager

Marlborough College is seeking to recruit a skilled, practical and enthusiastic Workshop and Studio Manager to play a vital role in supporting our thriving and well-resourced Design and Technology department. This is an excellent opportunity for a technically confident individual who enjoys a practical role and is motivated by helping young people turn creative ideas into high-quality physical outcomes whilst maintaining equipment and resources in this specialist area. 

The successful candidate need not hold a design related degree though knowledge and interest in design and competence in managing complex and competing priorities are important. Confidence to assist with technical instruction of practical skills in a thriving workshop and studio space is expected while experience with additive manufacturing, CAD/CAM, fabrication and construction techniques, woodworking, turning, graphics, textiles, robotics or electronics would be an advantage.
