Design Manager

Responsible for technical drawings of morecomplex/large projects or oversee a team of drafters. Ensures that technical drawings are prepared according to time schedule and conform to specifications for construction.

• Supervises and monitors the progress of shop drawings by team members for approval submission;
• Ensures the understanding and compliance of drawings with standards and specifications;
• Ensures understanding of project scope and requirements that impact accuracy of shop drawings;
• Prepares shop drawings and necessary documentation submission to main contractors/architects, etc;
• Prepares and updates status of shop drawing submission list for each project;
• Highlights and discusses any discrepancies on items/materials with relevant parties;
• Assists subordinates in the preparation of shop drawing details;
• Co-ordinates and arranges structural and architectural inspections with consultants;...
