Job Description
Design Engineering Manager Reporting to the Manager of Engineering, the Design Engineering Manager is accountable to manage and direct the multi‑discipline engineering / drafting teams to produce outputs that are fit for purpose, in alignment with project requirements and produced in a timely and cost effective manner.
The tasks you’ll perform
Provide technical leadership, creativity, and sound professional judgement, anticipating and resolving complex design issues while guiding the design team.
Approve design deliverables including drawings, standards, specifications, and procedures, ensuring compliance with Company, Australian, and International standards.
Plan, manage, and control design resources, man‑hour budgets, and schedules for Studies and EPCM projects to meet agreed deliverables.
