Key Accountabilities:

  • Creation and presentation of design concepts and solutions, production drawings (2D and 3D-Model-Based-Defintion) assembly instructions and complete dimensional tolerance stacks.
  • Orchestrate Technical Review/Design Reviews and communicate solutions to the project/customer.
  • Application of robust design principles including DfM (Design for Manufacturing) to ensure a production ready solution.
  • Requirements management and compliance demonstration.
  • Coordination with specialists (e.g. analysis, oil system, validation and others) to improve components, assemblies and systems in terms of efficiency, reliability and robustness

    • Qualifications and Skills:

  • Engineering degree in Mechanical or Aerospace, Technology or equivalent education.
  • Design experience (ideally in gearboxes or transmissions).
