DESIGN ENGINEER

What you’ll be doing

Develop and prepare ACMV system designs , including load calculations, ducting layouts, piping layouts, and equipment selection.

Prepare and review detailed design drawings , schematics, and technical documentation.

Coordinate with architects, structural, electrical, and other M&E disciplines to ensure integrated design solutions.

Conduct heat load calculations using software such as HAP, Carrier, or equivalent tools.

Ensure that all designs meet ASHRAE, SMACNA, and local authority requirements .

Review and evaluate shop drawings, technical submissions, and material specifications from contractors.

Provide technical support during project implementation, including attending site meetings and inspections.

Liaise with suppliers and manufacturers for equipment selection and technical clarifications .
