Design Engineer (Secondary) – Substation (Electrical)

Objective / Purpose
As a Design Engineer (Secondary), the person shall be capable of reviewing & executing 
Secondary Engineering Activities for Substation Projects as per the direction of Design Lead 
(Secondary). He must have good knowledge in Protection & Automation System in Substation. 
The person shall be thorough with protection applications. She / He shall coordinate with 
vendors for finalization of the equipment after vendor evaluation. 
Key Responsibilities:
• Timely completion of all deliverables
• Responsible for review of CRP (Control Relay Panels) and Automation drawings 
developed by the vendor
• Interact with Site Execution & Cluster teams for clarification w.r.t. the design of 
equipment
• Interact with Vendor for clarification w.r.t. compliances to Technical Specifications & 
comments and Quality
