Design Engineer

We are seeking a Freelance Frontend Software Engineer to maintain and update Italic's headless site. The ideal candidate will have experience with Hydrogen, Oxygen, and React Router, and should be comfortable coding with AI tools.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and update our headless site
• Implement new features and improvements
• Ensure high code quality and performance
• Collaborate with internal teams for integration and updates
• Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize frontend code

Requirements

• 3+ years of frontend software engineering experience
• Proficiency with React, Hydrogen, Oxygen, and React Router
• Experience working with AI-powered coding tools
• Ability to deliver clean, maintainable, and efficient code
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
