Design engineer

Responsibilities

Design and develop vision systems for automation applications, including hardware selection, integration and programming. Collaborate with mechanical and Electrical engineers to ensure seamless integration of vision systems into existing automation setups. Develop and optimize algorithms for image processing, pattern recognition, and defect detection using software tools such as Cognex, Keyence, or similar. Integrate vision systems with PLCs, HMIs, robotic systems, and other automation equipment to enable real-time decision-making and control Conduct thorough testing and validation of vision systems to ensure accuracy, reliability, and consistency. Identify opportunities for process optimization and efficiency gains through the use of vision automation technologies.
