Hastings Girls’ High School – Ngā Rau Huia o Ākina is seeking an experienced, student‑centred Deputy Principal to join our Senior Leadership Team. The role will begin at the start of Term 2 (or by negotiation).

Key responsibilities include:

• Leading and managing operational systems and processes within the school.
• Acting as Principal’s Nominee, providing executive support and ensuring compliance with NZQA and ERO requirements.
• Supporting culture groups, co‑curricular programmes and wider school life to promote an inclusive and vibrant community.
• Fostering student success through collaborative, innovative learning initiatives.
• Demonstrating the school’s core values of Whanaungatanga, Manaakitanga, Kaitiakitanga, Pono and Whakaute.
