About the Role

Should have excellent Cost knowledge base & negotiation skills of gear, Shaft, Wheels, Pinion, Connecting Rod, Idlers & Sprockets. Excellent understanding of 2D Drawings & 3D Drawings to generate detailed RM, process costs.

Responsibilities

• Should be able to generate/develop should cost model for proprietary parts like Axles, Machines Gears, Warm gorging gears, Crank Shaft.
• Should cost MHR knowledge for different processes.
• Knowledge & market connect with supplier’s base of gear, forging, warm forging, machining, casting etc to arrange quotes, negotiations and applications on day to basis.
• Responsible for Part cost assessment at supplier end.
• Responsible for Cost negotiation with Internal / External customers.
• Competition study, benchmarking of the similar parts/machines etc.
• Will work closely with internal customer to understand the project design / commercial variation....
