JOB DETAILS

Qualification & Experience

M.Sc (Geography, Computer Science or equivalent) with at least 5 years of experience in the field of Geographic Information System (GIS) Development. Experience in developing gas pipeline networks. Full command on Auto CAD is essential.

Responsibilities

  • Develop web mapping applications and geo-processing tools.
  • Develop and/or update natural gas pipeline infrastructure into ArcGIS.
  • Prepare and/or update natural gas infrastructure map.
  • Analyze spatial data through map software.
  • Design digital maps with geographic and other data sources.
  • Conversion of physical maps of gas pipeline infrastructure into digital form.
  • Create shape-files to merge topographical data with external data by layering external data over a topographical map.
