The New York City Department of Transportation (NYC DOT) is seeking a Deputy Director of Strategic Engagement to serve in the Intergovernmental Affairs team, situated within the Strategy Unit in the Commissioner's Office. The Strategy Unit is comprised of Policy, Intergovernmental Affairs, and Communications, which work together to advance the core objectives of the agency. The Deputy Director of Strategic Engagement would report to the Director of Government Affairs and will manage elected official and stakeholder engagement to advance key bus projects, bike projects, and other agency policies, and initiatives. In particular, the Deputy Director will focus on advancing the administration's commitment to fast and free buses.
