Dental Surgery Assistant (Novena)

The Dental Surgery Assistant prepares a working space in a dental facility for dental examinations and procedures. Responsibilities include preparing dental instruments and materials for the dentist and ensuring they are properly sterilised. The role also involves administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments and filing dental records.

• Assist dental surgeon(s) in all forms of dental treatment
• Attend to all patients seeking treatment or enquiries at the clinic promptly and courteously
• Maintain and ensure cleanliness of the clinic and treatment room
• Maintain dental equipment and instruments in good working condition
• Discharge patients by dispensing medication, collecting payment and scheduling of next appointment
• Develop X-ray/OPG for assessment of treatment
