  • Assist and support the chef and cooks in food preparation and cooking
  • Control and check the quality of ingredients during cooking and presentation to ensure they meet standards
  • Manage the arrangement and preparation of kitchen utensils and equipment to ensure they are ready for use at all times
  • Help teach and train cooking skills to kitchen assistants and staff
  • Adhere strictly to hygiene and safety regulations in the kitchen

  • Qualifications

  • At least 2-3 years of experience in the restaurant, hotel, or food service industry
  • Strong knowledge and skills in preparing and cooking various types of food
  • Attention to detail, diligence, and the ability to work under pressure
  • Good communication skills and the ability to work well with a team
  • Able to comply with hygiene and safety standards in the workplace
