Job Summary
The Demand Planner is responsible for developing, analyzing, and maintaining accurate demand forecasts to support production, inventory, and supply chain planning. This role collaborates closely with Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Supply Chain teams to align forecasts with business goals and improve service levels while minimizing excess inventory.
Key ResponsibilitiesDemand Forecasting
Develop and maintain demand forecasts using historical data, market trends, and statistical models
Analyze forecast accuracy and adjust assumptions as needed
Incorporate promotions, seasonality, new product launches, and market changes into demand plans
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Work closely with Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Operations to gather inputs and validate forecasts
Participate in S&OP (Sales and Operations Planning) or IBP processes
Communicate demand changes and risks to stakehold...
