Job Description
- Pick up, transport, and deliver goods to customers in a safe and timely manner.
- Load and unload items, ensuring proper handling to prevent damage.
- Verify delivery orders, invoices, and customer information for accuracy.
- Plan and follow efficient routes using GPS navigation and traffic updates.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries and handling special requests.
- Collect payments and maintain accurate records of deliveries and transactions.
- Inspect and maintain the delivery vehicle, reporting any mechanical issues.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Proven experience as a delivery driver (experience in logistics or courier services is a plus).
- Ability to lift and carry heavy packages.
- Good knowledge of local roads and traffic regulations.
