JOB SUMMARY

The Deduction Analyst is responsible for investigating, validating, and resolving customer deductions and chargebacks This role ensures accurate processing of valid claims, recovers invalid deductions, and identifies root-cause issues to reduce future short-payments. The analyst works closely with Sales, Trade Marketing, Customer Service, Finance, and AR to maintain clean deduction aging, support trade promotion accuracy, and improve recovery rates while ensuring compliance with internal controls.


DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES


  1. Triage and resolve customer deductions (pricing, shortages/damages, returns, allowances, trade promotions, compliance/chargebacks).
  2. Validate claims using POs, PODs/BOLs, invoices, contracts, TPM deals, and retailer portal evidence.
  3. Decide disposition (valid/invalid/partial), code reason accurately.
  4. Prepare dispute packages with supporting documentation; submit via retailer portals (...
