Job Description
Embark on a rewarding journey as a temporary Teacher of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing with School District No. 60 in Peace River North, effective September 1, 2026. This full-time position focuses on direct and indirect support for students with hearing challenges.
You will be instrumental in facilitating communication skills, emotional development, and classroom inclusivity. The role requires a valid BC Teaching Certificate or eligibility, collaborative planning capabilities, and knowledge of differentiated instruction methods. A Master’s degree in Deaf Education is preferred, along with strong interpersonal skills and a commitment to all students.
