About the role

We are looking for a Facilities Engineering Specialist to join our team in our Malaga Data Centre for Fujitsu. This role is a permanent role and reporting into Data Centre Manager.


In this role on occasions, you may need to work outside usual business hours, on weekends and on public holidays.


There is an expectation that a reasonable number of additional hours may need to be covered above and beyond the normal 38 hour week.


Responsibilities and Accountabilities

  • Data Centre security physical and access procedures, IT infrastructure, Data Centre Plant and Equipment maintenance / activities and batch operations.
  • Identify faults and issues with data centre infrastructure, and address where possible. Escalate to relevant vendors or internal teams as required.
  • Assisting in the maintenance, efficiency and reliability of a large and technically complex data centre facility.
