Job Title: DBT Data Engineer

Key Responsibilities

As a DBT Data Engineer, you will:

• SQL Development & Optimization: Apply strong SQL skills, including Common Table Expressions (CTE), for data manipulation and optimization.
• Database Management: Utilize Snowflake or equivalent strong database experience for data handling, including SQL tuning.
• DBT Implementation: Work with DBT Core or DBT Cloud for data transformation and modeling.
• Development Best Practices: Adhere to and promote development best practices, including peer reviews and unit testing.
• Data Modeling: Apply fundamental data modeling concepts such as 3NF, Star, Snowflake schemas, and understanding the grain of data.
• Data Analysis & Profiling: Perform data analysis and data profiling tasks to ensure data quality and understanding.
