Job Description

The Prevention Services Manager will provide a holistic approach to the wellness of the child, the family and the community that is based on nehiyaw views, beliefs and practices. This position will assist in implementing Day Star First Nations Prevention Services and develop service and programs within the community.

The Prevention Manager provides supervision, staffing support and will work in conjunction with existing programs and the program staff to provide early intervention and/or Prevention to families at risk while remaining within the parameters of the Prevention Principles, Service Agreements, FSIN Child & Family Services Act and ISC Terms and Conditions.

The Day Star FN Prevention Manager reviews initial requests for projects.
