Job Description
- Overall experience of 6 years in DW/ BI technologies and minimum 5 years development experience in ETL DataStage 8.x/ 9.x tool.
- Design, develop, and maintain ETL processes using IBM DataStage to extract, transform, and load data from multiple sources into our data warehouse
- Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to understand data requirements and translate them into technical specifications
- Worked extensively in parallel jobs, sequences and preferably in routines.
- Good conceptual knowledge on data- warehouse and various methodologies.
- Strong SQL database skills in Teradata and other databases like Oracle, SQL Server, DB2 etc
- Working knowledge in UNIX shell scripting.
- Good communication and presentation skills
- Should be flexible with the overlapping working hours
- Should be able to work independently and act proactively
- Develop, implement, and maintain best practices for DataStage
