Job Summary
Database Migration Consultant to plan, design, and execute database migrations from on-premises and legacy environments to cloud or modern platforms. The consultant will work closely with customers, application teams, and infrastructure teams to ensure secure, high-performance, and reliable database migrations with minimal downtime.
Primary Skills (Must Have)
Database Technologies
. Relational Databases: SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL
. NoSQL Databases: MongoDB, Cassandra (good to have)
. Data Warehousing platforms (Teradata, Snowflake - good to have)
Cloud & Migration
. Cloud platforms: Azure and AWS (basic)
