Overview
BigBear.ai is seeking a Database Engineer 2 to support mission-critical needs for our government customer. This role will be performed onsite at the assigned customer location. As a Database Engineer, you will play a key role in ensuring the performance, scalability, and reliability of database systems while collaborating with developers and stakeholders to deliver value-driven solutions.
What you will do
+ Monitor databases and related systems to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
+ Support agile activities, including release planning, sprint planning, and retrospectives, to incorporate lessons learned into engineering processes.
+ Model data to design local schemas, tables, data types, indexes, procedures, and functions.
+ Collaborate with developers throughout the application development lifecycle to build features that deliver value to customers.
