Position Summary 

OPEX Corporation is currently looking for a junior or mid-level software developer to join our Cortex database team. Cortex equipment management and order fulfillment software controls OPEX’s robotic automation equipment and acts as the brains of a fulfillment operation. Database interaction plays a central role in this application suite. Proficiency in this area is a core requirement for this role. This position will be responsible for designing new schemas and PL/PGSQL functions to ensure data consistency while allowing for deeply customizable business logic to meet each customer’s unique requirements. We subscribe to the philosophy of “smart database, thin clients” which places a significant portion of the application logic in the database. This is a coding position, not a DBA role.
