Database Analyst

We are seeking a
Database Analyst
to lead structured data migrations between enterprise applications and optimize PostgreSQL workloads. The role focuses on data quality, performance tuning, reporting, and cross-team collaboration.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in a Database Analyst, DBA, or Data Engineer role.
• Advanced PostgreSQL expertise (query planning, indexing strategies, locking behavior, transactions, extensions).
• Strong SQL (window functions, CTEs, set-based operations, performance tuning).
• Experience with data migration tooling (custom ETL scripts, psql, pg_dump/pg_restore, logical replication).
• Proven troubleshooting using EXPLAIN / EXPLAIN ANALYZE and pg_stat_* views.
• Strong analytical and communication skills; able to translate requirements into efficient queries.
• Experience with version control and change management for schema and migration scripts.
