Robert Half is seeking an experienced Database Administrator to manage and support enterprise database environments with a primary focus on Microsoft SQL Server. This role is responsible for ensuring database availability, performance, security, and reliability for critical business applications. The position requires a high level of independence, strong troubleshooting ability, and collaboration with development and infrastructure teams.
This is a direct hire role with our partner in Madison, WI.
Key Responsibilities
+ Administer, monitor, and maintain Microsoft SQL Server environments to ensure performance, reliability, and availability
+ Provide secondary support for Oracle database environments
+ Perform routine database maintenance including backups, restores, patching, upgrades, and health checks
+ Diagnose and resolve database performance issues, availability problems, and data integrity concerns
