Job Description
We are seeking a proactive and experienced Database Administrator to manage our database infrastructure. In this role, you will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of our database systems, with a strong focus on performance optimization, troubleshooting, and strategic migration projects. The ideal candidate has deep expertise in SQL Server and is ready to take on the challenge of migrating to and supporting PostgreSQL.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Database Management & Operations:
- Oversee the daily operations and maintenance of our Microsoft SQL Server estate.
- Actively work on performance optimization and query tuning to ensure database efficiency.
- Implement and support automated failover and monitoring mechanisms to minimize downtime and ensure data consistency.
