Database Administrator

Job Summary:

• The Database Administrator is the SME in Oracle (including Oracle JD Edwards, Enterprise Manager and AWS RDS Oracle) and Microsoft SQL Server. This role defines innovation strategy for database systems and exercises considerable latitude and initiative to solve complex problems and ensures the company's database systems are safe, secure, and cost effective.

Responsibilities:

• Act as a SME of Oracle Database and Microsoft SQL Server, including On-premises, Private Cloud and Public Cloud environment.
• Provide database engineering advice as well as generalized technical solution for multiple product delivery teams within the Technology organization.
• Enhance the scalability and performance of existing Oracle database architecture and MS SQL server and cluster.
• Influence operations and product delivery teams to ensure new capabilities are adopted and operationalized.
