Job Description
JOB OBJECTIVE:
The Database Administrator (DA) is responsible in the capacity management, integrity and security of all databases of the bank in production (PRD), Disaster Recovery (DR), Development (DEV), System Integration Testing (SIT) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) Environment. The DA also analyzes the database design of new systems, its management and its eventual enhancement to improve system performance. Also in charge with the database hardware sizing and its compatibility with the Operating System (OS) together with the System Administrator. The DA is a problem solver constrained by limited time.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:
Sets-up and maintains all databases for Production (PRD), Disaster and Recovery (DR), Development (DEV), System Integration Testing (SIT) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) Environment.
Evaluates Database Version Releases, its improvements and impact to the Database Administration, security and user experience.
