Database Administrator

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in database administration, deployment, and maintenance for Oracle, MySQL, and MariaDB.
• Support database backup, recovery, and security implementation.
• Troubleshoot database performance and connectivity issues.
• Develop and optimize SQL queries and Unix scripts for automation and efficiency.
• Monitor database performance, availability, and integrity.
• Work with senior engineers on issue resolution and system enhancements.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• 3-5 years of experience in database administration or support.
• Hands-on experience with Oracle, MySQL, and MariaDB (experience with Sybase is a plus).
• Strong skills in SQL scripting, Unix shell scripting, and troubleshooting database issues.
