Job Description

  • Install, configure, upgrade, and maintain SQL Server and MongoDB and PostgreSql databases.

  • Manage database security, access control, and auditing .

  • Perform database backup, restore, disaster recovery, and high availability setup .

  • Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize database performance, queries, and indexing .

  • Implement and maintain replication, clustering as needed.

  • Work with developers to optimize queries, stored procedures, and schema designs .

  • Automate routine DBA tasks using scripting (PowerShell, Bash, or Python) .

  • Collaborate with DevOps teams for CI/CD integration and cloud database deployments .

  • Provide 24x7 production support for critical database systems on a rotational basis.
