Database Administator

Responsibilities

• Support for Microsoft SQL Server (MSSQL), MySQL, and Oracle Database administration and daily operations
• Perform regular database backups, restorations, and disaster recovery procedures to safeguard our critical data
• Monitor database performance, identify and address issues, and implement optimisation strategies
• Develop and maintain database-related scripts, stored procedures, and queries to automate routine tasks
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and translate them into effective database solutions
• Provide technical guidance and support to end users on database-related matters
• Stay up-to-date with the latest database technologies, trends, and best practices
