Job Summary A professional Database Administrator (DBA) will keep the database up and running smoothly 24/7. The goal is to provide a seamless flow of information throughout the company, considering both backend data structure and frontend accessibility for end-users.
Minimum Experience 10 years of progressive database administration experience, including production support, performance tuning, backup and recovery, disaster recovery planning, and database maintenance activities.
Responsibilities
Manage and administer production, QA, and development database environments ensuring high availability and optimal performance.
Perform database performance tuning, query optimization, indexing, and capacity planning to improve system efficiency.
Perform Oracle RMAN and SQL Server backup/recovery operations and regularly validate restoration procedures.
