Job Description

Core requirements -

  • Solid SQL language skills
  • Basic knowledge of data modeling
  • Working knowledge with Snowflake in Azure, CI/CD process (with any tooling)
  • Nice to have -
  • Azure ADF
  • ETL/ELT frameworks
  • ER/Studio

Really nice to have -

  • Healthcare / life sciences experience
  • GxP processes

Sr DW Engineer (in addition to the above)

  • Overseeing engineers while also performing the same work himself/herself
  • Conducting design reviews, code reviews, and deployment reviews with engineers
  • Solid data modeling, preferably using ER/Studio (or equivalent tool is fine)
  • Solid Snowflake SQL optimization (recognizing and fixing poor-performing statements)
  • Familiarity with medallion architecture (raw, refined, published or similar terminology)
