Data Scientist

Role Description

Under general supervision and direction of the lead researcher, he/she shall perform the following:

• Assist the lead researcher in the design, development, and maintenance of data science and data engineering requirements aligned with project and stakeholder needs.
• Develop and maintain reproducible ML pipelines: data ingestion/cleaning, feature engineering, model training, evaluation, and reporting.
• Implement and fine-tune SOTA machine learning / deep learning models as needed by the project (e.g., document AI/OCR pipelines, anomaly detection, predictive modeling, classification).
• Deploy or operationalize prototypes using cloud-based resources, ensuring performance, reliability, and cost-awareness.
• Assist in debugging, testing, and exploration of issues across codebases, APIs, and databases; propose fixes and improvements.
