Data Scientist (First Hire)

We are a high-growth consumer brand with doubling revenue year-over-year. Having established ourselves with premium physical and consumable products for cats, we are exploring smart products and their role in feline wellness.

The Reality

• We have a massive, growing stream of raw sensor data (load cells, proximity sensors, etc.) and real world usage footage landing in Google Cloud/BigQuery.
• This data is currently noisy and requires an architect to turn raw signals into discrete, actionable cat behavioural events.
• Sole Responsibility: You will be our first dedicated data hire, reporting directly to the CTO (Employee #1 at Pebble). You will own everything from high-level model architecture to the nitty‑gritty of setting up and maintaining data pipelines.
