I am looking for a detail-oriented freelancer to help populate a local business directory website.
What the job involves:
Research and compile business listings across multiple cities including business name, address, phone number, category, and city. Clean and organise the data in Excel or Google Sheets — remove duplicates and normalise phone numbers to a standard format. Upload the cleaned data in batches using a CSV bulk upload tool on our platform.
What I will provide:
A complete list of business categories and cities to research. CSV column structure and clear upload instructions. Access to the admin panel for uploading.
What I need from you:
Experience with business data research and compilation. Strong Excel or Google Sheets skills. Attention to detail — data quality is very important. Deliver approximately 800 to 1000 cleaned and organised business listings. Completed within 1 week.
