Data Quality Analyst

Role Definition

• Enable data owners and stewards to implement the Data Quality Framework, i.e., by means of the DQ Star Rating System, and to establish Master Data Management by performing the indicated job responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Collaborating with the relevant teams to align and/or improve data collection and keeping abreast of best practices and standards.
• Facilitate the resolution of data problems by performing statistical tests on large datasets to determine data quality and integrity.
• Implementing controls to effectively manage data quality and integrity internal to the GDF.
• Recommending new data quality processes for transactional data and enforcing data quality operations to move upstream.
• Utilizing the proper tools to analyze and discover the data according to the defined business rules and procedures.
