Job Description
You will provide legal and privacy guidance to Sony's global Data Transformation teams and lead initiatives to ensure compliance with global privacy regulations, especially in emerging technologies and cross-group data projects.
Key Responsibilities
Drive compliance with global privacy frameworks and program requirements.
Collaborate with legal teams worldwide and outside counsel on regulatory requirements, filings, and interactions with data protection authorities and European Works Councils.
Strengthen governance, controls, and documentation, and address privacy findings.
Stay current on global privacy laws, regulations, and emerging privacy technologies.
Conduct Privacy Impact Assessments and serve as a privacy subject matter expert.
Qualifications & Experience
5–8 years of relevant legal experience applying U.S. and international privacy laws in a business context and multinational corporation preferred.
