Job Description
Select Surplus is an industrial automation surplus reseller. We have a large legacy catalog exported from Shopify where multiple images create row explosions (many rows per item). We need an agency to execute Phase 1–2 of a data program:
GENERAL NOTE: We are a smaller company with revenue between 1 and 1.5 million USD. We have limited infrastructure and prefer to keep it that way. As such we are looking for pro-sumer applications / automation tool use to the fullest extent possible. We prefer use of the Google suite of tools and applications backig up these systems to the extent possilbe,
Phase 1: normalize/clean/dedupe exports into a clean single source of truth dataset (one row per item, images consolidated, stable IDs, mapping back to Shopify and eBay identifiers).
Phase 2: manufacturer normalization + technical spec enrichment from credible sources, with confidence/evidence and a human-review list for low-confidence items.
